From Founding to the 1960's

- Tenshin Co., ltd. is founded by Iwao Ikebe.
- 1954
- Tenshin Money Counting Machine Co., Ltd. is founded.
Manufacturing and sales of coin counting machines begin.
- 1957
- Tokyo factory is established.
- 1966
- The automatic coin wrapping machine is exported to the U.S.A. (first exported product).

First exporting of coin counting machines (Spindle type) to European nations.

- Company is renamed to LAUREL BANK MACHINES CO., LTD.

- Agencies in various European countries are established for exporting and distributing products to these countries.
- 1977
- Tokyo R&D Laboratory is established. (Present R&D Laboratory No. 2)
- 1978
- Agency network extended to Southeast Asia, Middle East, Africa and Latin America, and exporting to these areas begins.
- 1979
- Tokyo Headquarters building is built. Osaka factory is established.

- Obtains ISO 9001 certification for Tokyo factory.
