Privacy Protection Basic Policy

1. Our Company and group develop, manufacture, sell, and provide maintenance support for various cash handling machines and systems based on the theme of “a new fusion of humans. We believe that it is our social responsibility to properly protect the personal information entrusted to us by our customers.


2. In the operation of handling personal information, we will comply with laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal information, guidelines established by the government and other norms, and act in accordance with our internal regulations.


3. In order to properly handle personal information, in addition to conducting educational and enlightening activities for employees, by taking necessary and appropriate security control measures, we will make efforts to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information handled by our group.


4. Regarding the handling of personal information and our company’s personal information protection management system, we will set up a contact point to receive complaints and consultations from the person in question and respond appropriately.


5. We will review the contents of the personal information protection management system and continuously make effort to improve it so that personal information protection measures can be always taken appropriately.

How we use Your Personal Information

1. Purpose

We will use the personal information entrusted to us by our customers and business partners within the range necessary to achieve the following purpose.


1. Personal information about customers

2. Purpose of use of personal information acquired through outsourcing, disclosure, etc.

 1) To manage registered information and fulfill contracts in connection with the AI-OCR services

 2) To fulfill contracts for hardware system development, operation/maintenance support and so on

 3) To fulfill contracts for software development, operation/maintenance support and so on

 4) To use personal information obtained from recruitment support sites for recruitment selection, etc.

2. Disclosure to Third Parties

Personal information entrusted to us will not be provided to a third party unless it is based on laws and regulations or there is the consent of the person himself/herself.

3. Outsourcing

We may outsource all or part of the handling of personal information within the range of the purpose of use described in 1. above. In that case, in accordance with our personal information protection regulations, we will confirm that the subcontractor is taking appropriate security control measures, conclude an outsourcing contract, etc., and appropriately supervise the subcontractor.

4. Voluntary Disclosure

The disclosure of personal information is voluntary, but if you do not provide it, or if there is an error in the description or input of information, we may not be able to provide some or all of our services to you.

5. Security Control Measures

Regarding the handling of personal data held by the Company and personal data received from customers, the following measures are implemented as security control measures.


 a. We appoint a person responsible for the handling of personal data, specify the employees who handle personal data and the range of personal data handled by such employees, and organize a reporting and communication system in the event of an emergency.

 a. In the area where personal data is handled, we control the entry and exit of employees and restrict operation of the equipment used for the work, and implement measures to prevent unauthorized persons from viewing personal data.

 b. We take measures to prevent theft or loss of equipment, electronic media, documents, etc. that handle personal data, and take measures to prevent personal data from being easily identified when carrying such equipment, electronic media, etc.

 c. We will make prompt return, disposal, or erasure of personal data after completion of work


 a. We limit the number of the person in charge and the range of the personal information database, etc. to be handled by implementing access control.

 b. We take in a structure to protect information systems that handles personal data from unauthorized external access or unauthorized software

6. Procedures for Requests for Disclosure, etc. of Acquired Personal Data or Records Provided to Third Parties

We will respond to requests for disclosure, etc. of personal information held by the Company. For requests for disclosure, etc., mentioned below, please contact the “Personal Information Consultation Desk”:
 ・Notification or disclosure of purpose of use of retained personal data
 ・Disclosure of records of providing personal data to a third party
 ・Correction, addition or deletion of content
 ・Suspension of use
 ・Deletion and suspension of disclosure to third parties

We will send you a “Request for Disclosure, etc. of Personal Information”. Please check the contents of the “Request Form for Disclosure of Personal Information”, fill in the items according to the items, and return it. At the request for the disclosure, we may ask you to present documents, etc. that prove the identity of the person himself/herself or his/her agent. We will respond to requests for disclosure, etc. by telephone or in writing. In addition, at the request for “notification of purpose of use” or “disclosure,” please enclose a postal money order or stamps worth Yen1,000.- with the disclosure request form. It will be used as a handling fee and as the registered postage for sending the reply.


When requesting disclosure, etc., we may ask you to submit the following documents to confirm that the person making the request is the person himself/herself or his/her agent.
1. If the person requesting disclosure, etc. is the person himself/herself, please attach one of the following items.
 ・A copy of your driver’s license, passport, personal number card with your name and photo on the side, etc.
 ・National qualification card, health insurance card, pension book, within 3 months, copy of resident card without individual number
2. If the person requesting disclosure, etc. is an agent
 ・Any one of the above documents and a power of attorney from the principal
Please submit the personal seal and the seal registration certificate of the seal. If the representative is a legal representative such as a person with parental authority, please submit a document that shows the relationship with the principal. Also, if you are a qualified person such as a lawyer, please write the job title and registration number.

7. Cases of not disclosing Personal Information

Please note that we will not be able to respond to disclosure etc. in the following cases. If we decide not to disclose, etc., we will notify you with the reason. In addition, even if disclosure, etc. is not made, a prescribed fee will be charged.

・When the person cannot be identified

・When the authority of proxy cannot be confirmed when the request is made by an agent

・When there is a deficiency in the prescribed request documents

・If the postal money order or stamp fee is not paid within the specified period

・When the requested information does not correspond to the personal information subject to disclosure by the Company

・When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property or other rights and interests of the person or a third party

・When there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper implementation of our business

・When it violates other laws and regulations
